cloth fabric is a small independent fabric company which sits on a sunny corner shop on William street in Darlinghurst, Sydney. cloth fabric makes and sells fabric, all kinds of product using the fabric, rugs, furniture, wallpaper and art – all made by hand.
cloth fabric are upcycling experts and use water based, non-toxic inks and dyes and have a sustainable, low impact approach to manufacturing and materials.
The Good deemed most creative in this category wins a dinner for 20 at Tablefor20 on Thursday 6 December 2012.
As the gang at Tablefor20 are so busy, this date can’t be moved so make sure you can wrangle 20 of your mates to get legs under the table by 8pm on this date.
Tablefor20 is an underground communal dining wonderland created by Michael Fantuz. The idea is to bring together a community of friends and strangers to share a home cooked meal, good conversation and Mum's Limoncello. Six years later the secret door down an alley in Surry Hills, Sydney is still going strong. And the best bit is proceeds from your prize go to HopeStreet.
The Good deemed the most creative in this category wins $1,000 worth of car share travel for an individual or business from GoGet. Membership and sign up fees are waivered but the winner must be 18 years or older and have held an Australian license for more than two years.

The information obtained by entering The Good Hood will be used by the City of Sydney to conduct post event research. Supply of the information in the form is voluntary, but no entries will be considered valid without these details. The personal information obtained from the form will remain confidential. After processing, the information will be stored on City of Sydney's files for the purposes indicated in the Conditions of Entry.
1. Information of how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry for The Good Hood (the Competition): Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
2. The promoter of this Competition is the Council of the City of Sydney (ABN 22 636 550 790), 456 Kent Street, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia (the Promoter).
3. Entry into the Competition is open to residents or workers of the City of Sydney's local government area. Entrants under 18 years of age must have the consent of their parent or guardian to enter and must have a parent or guardian available to redeem prizes if successful. Employees and their immediate families of City of Sydney are ineligible to enter. An entrant must be a person and not a company or an organisation.
4. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process, submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry or is engaged in any unlawful or other improper conduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition or the Promoter's interests.
5. To enter this Competition you must:
a) Complete the Online Entry Form with all requested details including your full name (via a Facebook log in)
b) Upload a Photo in one of the three categories - Reuse & Recycle, Made & Grown and Green & Go – within the Competition Period.
c) Write in 25 words or less why your image is 'Good' or why it is a good representation of a sustainable activity in the City of Sydney
d) Drag the Photo on The Good Hood map
e) Agree to all Terms and Conditions of The Good Hood
6. The Competition opens at 12:00am EDST on Monday 17 September 2012 and closes at 11:59pm EDST on Sunday 4 November 2012 (Competition Period).
7. There are three main prizes, one prize for each Photo category: Reuse & Recycle, Made & Grown and Green & Go.
a) The Reuse & Recycle Prize Winner will receive one (1) 'reclothed' TV chair in a fabric of their choice from cloth fabric located at 113–115 William St Darlinghurst. The chair must be claimed by 31 December 2012. The TV chair is valued at $1000.
b) The Made & Grown Prize Winner will receive a voucher for dinner for twenty (20) people at the restaurant 'Table for 20' located at 182 Campbell Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010 on Thursday 6 December 2012. The prize must be taken on this date and can not be transferred to another date. If less than twenty people attend the dinner, there will be no compensation and the additional meals will be forfeited. The prize includes a three course set menu for a maximum of 20 people. The prize does not include alcohol. Guests are able to purchase alcohol at their own expense but must drink responsibly.
c) The Green & Go Prize Winner will receive $1,000 worth of GoGet travel. This includes membership fee and car travel to be redeemed by 30 June 2013. This amount does not include the $500 fully refundable security deposit and must be paid by the Prize Winner on sign up to the GoGet program. Standard GoGet Terms and Conditions of Vehicle Use apply and can be found here: https://www.goget.com.au/bookings/secret/signup/Member_Contract.pdf.
8. The three (3) prize winners (Prize Winners) will be announced on Wednesday 7 November 2012 and then notified by phone or email. If the Prize Winner does not accept the prize by 9 November 2012, the Prize will be forfeited and a new Prize Winner will be drawn. The Prize Winner's names will be published on the City of Sydney's Green Villages website (www.greenvillages.com.au) and also in the November edition of the City of Sydney's Green Village News.
9. This Competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the Prize Winners. The entrant whose photo is judged by the Promoter's panel of judges to be the best, most original and creative in each of the categories will win one of the Prizes. This Competition will be judged at the sole discretion of representatives of the Promoter and the judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. By entering the Competition each entrant grants to the Promoter an irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty free licence to publish, reproduce, display, broadcast or otherwise use the photographs submitted in any form of media (print or web) for any promotional, marketing, publicity or research purposes of the Promoter or for any other purpose consistent with the Promoter's functions, without payment to or attribution of the entrant.
11. Upon entering the Competition you warrant that:
a) All details provided with your entry including your photo are true and accurate
b) You have all necessary rights and licenses for the photo and are able to grant the rights set out in these Terms and Conditions
c) The Photo you enter is an original work
d) You are the copyright owner or authorised licensor of all copyright works and subject matter comprising the photo
12. The Prize Winner consents to the Promoter taking images of the Prize Winner and their Prize for marketing and promotional use.
13. The Prize Winner will be notified of their prize by phone and/or email. A courier will be arranged by the Promoter to deliver the cloth fabric chair to the winner at a specified address within the City of Sydney local government area only. The Tablefor20 and GoGet vouchers will be mailed to the winners via Express Post.
14. Total prize value for all three prizes is $3,540 which includes the respective prices of the Tablefor20 voucher to the value of $1,540 including GST, the 'reclothed' cloth fabric chair to the value of $1,000 including GST and the GoGet membership and travel to the value of $1,000 including GST (prize does not include $500 full refundable security deposit).
15. All travel costs associated with the redemption of the prize by the Prize Winner will be at the expense of the Prize Winner. All prize(s) are to be redeemed in Sydney.
16. Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
17. In the event that for any reason the Prize Winner does not claim the prize by 30 November 2012, then the prize is forfeited.
18. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
19. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained as a result of participating in this promotion or by taking a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
20. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fraud, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
21. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information or for any fault in the equipment utilised in this Competition which may result in error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
22. No component of the prizes can be transferred or redeemed for cash. In the event that the prizes becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a similar product to the same or greater value as the original prizes, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation.
23. The Promoter collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion and award the prize winner and to conduct post event research. By entering the Competition, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant.
24. Entrants' personal information may be disclosed to the relevant State lottery department and winners' names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter. The winner's personal details may be released to public enquiries under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009.
